The Creation Evolution and Creationism

Of all pseduoscientists, creation "scientists" are the worst of the lot. Up until a few years ago, I tolerated their "evidence" and "methods" for proving that the Theory of Evolution is a fallacy or, at worst, a myth of modern-day science. But now, after reading their literature and becoming familiar with their arguments, I've come to realize that their findings are based on philosophical diatribe, half-truths, distortions of scientific data, outright lies, and more often than not, an ignorance of basic science. Worse, they preach these lies and misconceptions as FACT. Preaching religion is one thing, preaching false science is quite another. Make no mistake, ladies and gentlemen, these folk are scientific charlatans whether they realize it or not.

Creation Scientists are a mockery of the scientific profession. Their irresponsibility contributes to the powerful grip that pseudoscience has upon the twentieth century. For this reason alone, they discredit their peers and their own cause. To put it more bluntly: If one believes in Creationists and their doctrines, then one ought to believe that the earth is flat.

But don't take my word for it. . .

The Talk.origins Archive is an extensive library of literature that explores the current controversy between Evolution and Creationism. This material has been collected from the talk.origins newsgroup. Much of the literature is written by scientists and/or persons with extensive knowledge of a particular scientific field. I highly recommend examining the must-read FAQs for arguments that pertain to both sides of the debate.

And now some quick sources of info.
