Erethian Hmmph.
Yet another interruption. Well, I suppose such disruptions are necessary if I am to study thine world. Tsk. I never should have agreed to act as a representative for Mind 'Scapes, but their offer was most intriguing...

But I am being rude. My name is Erethian, Scholar of Truth, Mage of the Lycaeum, and I welcome thee to the shores of Britannia, where thou mayest learn more of the Ultima saga.

What is Ultima?
What? Art thou not familiar with what thy own kind know as the Ultima saga? Very well, then, I shall tell thee of Ultima if thou dost care to listen... and if thou wilt leave me be when I am finished.

On thy Earth, Ultima chronicles the history of my world, Britannia, a medieval realm ruled by our esteemed monarch, Lord British. 'Tis a story that spans centuries and focuses on the momentous deeds of the Avatar, a virtuous warrior said to have been born of Earth. Richard Garriott of Origin Systems, has recorded our history in a trilogy consisting of nine volumes. In addition, several companion texts chronicle other folklore about the Avatar. Note, however, that the trilogy cannot be found in thy books or on the tongues of thy minstrels. No, friend, thou must first collect the mysterious disks found within The Ultima Collection, Ultima Underworld, and Ultima IX: Ascension. Then, thou must view these stories through the screen of thy mysterious, computational device. 'Tis also whispered that our land has had such an effect on thy kind, that thousands of thee now populate an online simulation of Britannia.

To go into any greater detail will waste my time and thine. I shall speak of only a few more topics, specifically about my last adventure with The Dark Core, the tragic Tale of Captain Johne, and a group of thy fellow Earth folk, the Ultima Dragons. If thou dost wish to learn any more, then I must direct thee to other sources.
